They give 20% discounts if you buy your dress there the first time you go. It's a pretty good deal considering they sell below retail anyway. I'd suggest going there after you've shopped around a bit and kind of know what you want. It's funny because I ended up buying a dress that was extremely similar to a dress I tried on the first time I started trying on dresses. I guess I knew what I wanted, but I went through tons of dresses before I decided on this one. I'm not going to post a picture of the dress, I'll let that be a surprise. I'm surprised I ended up going this route, but I'm easily sucked in on a deal. Just check out my history at Loehmanns.

How it happened: The Engagement

After a lovely dinner and a show, we were playing with bubbles, blowing them at eachother. He picked up a hand full of bubbles and I blew them toward him which revealled my engagement ring in his hand. He got down on one knee and proposed to me. I said yes. We exchanged loving words and kissed.

The Journey: How We Met

Melissa, Clifford, and I went to San Jose to meet up with some of Melissa's friends from UCSB, and because she told me that her friend Glen had an attractive, tall, Chinese, boy friend (two words) who was currently single and apparently crushed and "whipped" by his high school sweet heart. I was recently out of a short lived fun but mostly irritating relationship and was dating casually but ready to throw the towel back in the ring. So I thought it would be great to meet someone new. We were all going to meet at the new Todai's resturant in San Jose for dinner. After waiting an hour or so, and Melissa's friends finally showed up about an hour and a half or so before Todai's closed only to find out that between the three of them they only had enough money for one person to go into Todai's so my friends and I went to Todai's and they went to Burger King. Lucky thing Ivan was very attractive so after a very satisfying dinner I suggested bowlling. During bowlling I got to see how goofy my future fiance is. The bug was planted, and we proceeded to get to know each other.

This is at one of our favorite Thai Food restaurants Sabuy Sabuy in Oakland across from CCa where College intersects Broadway. This was an after dinner treat.

This is a chair in Disney's California Adventure it's part of the Animatior's studio in the Beauty and the Beast part where you can find out which Disney personality you are. I can't remember what our results were during this round, but cogsworth took a really cute picture of us:

This is at Great America on the Edge(superman like for you Magic Mountian goers) like ride that makes me swear like a sailor. I guess I have a pretty weak stomach.

This is at David's grandparents house in Los Feliz. This particular shot was taken during the Mei Melencon shoot.

This is from the Last Minute Luau that I had at my parents clubhouse. That was a pretty fun night. What great memories!

This is at Ivan's grandmothers house, we decided one day (probably and aniversary) that we didn't have enough pictures, so we took a TON of pictures this day.

This is another very early tdink shoot taken at Tiff W's apartment in Berkeley. That was a LONG shoot. And looking back on it, David and I were very inexperienced at that point, but the results were great :)

This is in Santa Barbara, it's the body of the bobble heads located on the homepage. the heads are from a picture from Knott's Berry Farm at the Meguiar's summer picnic.

My graduation, and coincidentally it's at Yang Sing the same place we are going to have the banquet dinner for the wedding. I guess when you like something you just like it.

When meeting with Ivan's College Buddies Walter and Jeffery, we ate at Yardhouse in the LBC. That is the day we met Varoah and Amanda.

In front of Alan's Painting while he was still in High School. yet another day we decided we didn't have enough pictures. I think this was early on in the D100 era. My Dad took the picture. You can see I had extremely long hair in this picture however it got much longer before it got shorter.

My favorite Philly Cheesesteak chain, it's addicting and I was introduced to it when I was seven when my mom craved it when she was pregnant with my brother Alan. Ironically, Alan hasn't craved Philly Cheesesteaks since he's gotten out.

At Disneyland of course. I'm glad it's blury cause I had a huge zit on my chin that day. Though I guess I could take it out through photoshop.
